"Don't Exchange What You Want Most, For What You Want at the Moment

I have seen this quote multiple times lately, and when things like that happen, I take it as a sign!

Read this message out loud and think on it.  Or print it out in color and hang it everywhere! Isn't it true that sometimes you do something, or in the case of fitness don't do something, that would honor what you ultimately want most, to be a healthy and fit survivor?

Perhaps you stay in bed under the covers, in a blue funk, or chow down on doughnuts, candy or salty treats because it's what you desire that very second. Or you skip that Zumba class or a brisk walk in the neighborhood because getting started is the hardest part of exercise.

By keeping your long term, ultimate goal in mind, the momentary distractions are less likely to disrupt your healthy regimes. By thinking forward, you will be paying it forward for a healthy future.
