Lifetime Follow-up Care for Childhood Cancer Survivors

A Clinical Review titled "Lifetime Follow-up Care for Childhood Cancer Survivors" by Richard I. Haddy, MD and Theresa B. Haddy, MD was recently publshed in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine  (http://jabfm.org) and is worth reading.  It affirms what we at the Connecticut Challenge believe to be true.  Survivorship care is essential for childhood cancer survivors so that they are aware of the potential long term effects of their treatments and can work with health care professionals to address any issues that may arise.  Download the pdf here.
